This is technically a requested video that I pieced together in an amazingly short amount of time. Its all about "Killing Wildfire" or in other words getting rid of that New Ruby on Supernatural. She's terrible. Hate her.
I thought it would be best if my favorite brother of the show did the dirty work. Dean wants to anyways and most of us are right behind him with the support. :P

I know scary right? You just had the wedding of your dreams and had 300 of your closest peeps to celebrate with you. You are now back from your honeymoon and it's time to write all of those Thank you cards for all 150 of the amazing gifts you recieved! I know you are seeing lots of wine and a sore wrist in your future but by following a few easy tips, letter writing can actually be fun and easy!
We have helped many Clients get through writing Thank you cards with a bit of our own advice and guidance from the lovely Peggy Post of Emilypost.com
Remember You need to write your Thank you notes within three months of you receiving your gift!
Coastside Couture's advice:
Grab a good bottle of wine (very important)
Plan on breaking up the Thank you card writing over a few days, don't try to tackle all 150 of them in one sit down, you will end up uncomfortable, with a sore wrist and most likely a lot of wasted cards because you started messing up.
Make sure your Husband or Wife is on hand to help, these gifts were meant for the both of you, so both of you should at least sign each card.
Try not to watch TV or a movie while writing the cards, just have some good background music as to not distract you or get silly lyrics in your heads
Make this fun, not a chore and try to write legibly and clearly so your guests can read.
Peggy Posts Advice:
Do personalize your notes and make reference to the person as well as the gift.
Do remember that a gift should be acknowledged with the same courtesy and generous spirit in which it was given.
Do be enthusiastic, but don’t gush. Avoid saying a gift is the most beautiful thing you have ever seen unless you really mean it.
Don’t send form letters or cards with printed messages and just your signature; don’t use email or post a generic thank you on your wedding web site in lieu of a personal note.
Do promptly acknowledge the receipt of shipped gifts by sending a note right away or calling and following up with a written note in a day or two.
Don’t mention that you plan to return a gift or that you are dissatisfied in any way.
Don’t tailor your note to the perceived value of the gift; no one should receive a perfunctory note.
Do refer to the way you will use a gift of money. Mentioning the amount is optional.
Don’t include wedding photos or use photo cards if it will delay sending the note.
Don’t use being late as an excuse not to write. Even if you are still sending notes after your first anniversary, keep writing!
Who needs a note?
Anyone who gives you an engagement, shower or wedding gift, even if you have thanked them in person. Individual notes should be written to people who contributed to a group gift.
Anyone who gives a gift of money: cash, checks, contributions to savings accounts and donations to charities. Mentioning the amount is optional, but it does let the person know the correct amount was received. You should mention what you plan to do with the money.
Your attendants. A warm personal note attached to your gifts to your attendants will let them know how much you appreciate their efforts and support on your behalf.
Anyone who hosted a party or shower for you. Ideally these notes should be written within two days of the event. Each host or hostess should be thanked individually with a note and a thank you gift.
People who house or entertain your wedding guests. A note and a small gift should be sent to anyone who houses or entertains out-of-town wedding guests.
People who do kindnesses for you. The neighbor who accepts delivery of your gifts when you are at work; the cousin who supervises the parking at the reception – anyone who assists you before, during or after your wedding.
Suppliers and vendors. You don’t have to write everyone you hire for services, but anyone who exceeds your expectations will appreciate a courteous note of thanks.
Your parents or whoever is hosting your wedding.
So get to work! Grab your wine, your honey and start writing!

Yet another beautiful masterpiece by Geller Events, who created 'Hotel Jac' for Jacqueline's Bat Mitzvah this last Saturday at Hillcrest Country Club in Los Angeles. The orange & hot pink theme was everywhere from the lounge furniture, the stage back drop, the lighting, all the florals, and the linens. Yes...i said Minnesota! My family and I were there this past weekend visiting with some of our dearest friends. It was just breathtaking to see the seasons start to change from Summer to Fall (something us LA folks don't get to see too often!). Although we were a little ahead of all the leaves changing we definitely got a sneak peak of the vibrant red and orange toned maple leaves. One of the more interesting parts of our trip was the visit to the Minnetonka Apple Orchard! Often times we get a visual of the apple blossoms at the LA market during the spring....but this was the real deal for the fall! The Trees were covered with hundreds of gorgeous red apples!! I wish I could have clipped the branches right off the tree and used them in an arrangement! From mini crab apples to the most delicious tasting Honey Crisp apples...it was all magnificent!

So remember when I was all worked up about what shoes I should take for my two weeks in Ireland and Paris? I needed the perfect mix of comfort, fashion, and versatility. I needed to look cute while logging up to 15 miles a day of walking...!!! What was this girl to ever do?
A fellow bridesmaid even asked what my shoe choices were at the wedding since she knew how vitally important this detail was to me. I told her I had such great responses and really had most of your suggestions in the running for what to pack, but ultimately I ended up taking just two pairs of shoes: a pair of ballet flats that could be crushed into nothingness at the bottom of my backpack and a pair of brown low-cut motorcycle boots.
The motorcycle boots were the best. decision. ever. Their thick soles supported my feet over the thousands of cobblestones, rocky ocean pathways, sandy beach walks, and marbled floors of museums. They also looked great with everything in my backpack, from the cute wispy tees I brought for dinners out to my warm military jacket to battle the gusty Irish countryside.
Thanks to K,Tea?'s advice about insoles, I also had the arch support and cushioning I needed (my arches are ridiculously high after years of ballet.) I ended up getting some runner's insoles that made my life worth living after 12 hours of walking.
The motorcycle boots were also a serendipitous choice for Paris because BOOTS are all the Parisian girls were wearing! Granted, many of their boots had perilously higher heels than my humble motorcycle kicks, but boots were the go-to item for most of the stylish women I saw walking around town. (More on Parisian style later...this needs a whole blog post;)!)
My boots are no longer available, but I found some cute alternatives that look similar to my blessed pair. All are available at endless. Again, thank you so much for all of your suggestions!
I can barely bring myself to put a picture of it in this post, but let me explain how I got here...
I loooove Netflix. 95% of the time they are impeccable in their service and their shipping. But rarely, not often at all, a rogue DVD finds its way to my mailbox. Once, when I was expecting Les Carabiniers, I received The Phantom of the Operain its sleeve! LETDOWN! Plus, it was a Friday so I was movie-less because of this stupid musical in sheep's clothing.
Yesterday, an unsolicited DVD made it to my mailbox. We already have our three DVDs we can check out simultaneously, two of which are some dark Criterion Collection stuff Shug won't have anything to do with, and some godawful Canadian sitcom Shug ordered. If you haven't noticed yet, I'm a total movie snob. THE snobbiest. If it's not in subtitles or completely obtuse or crazy, I won't like the movie, and I make sure to chastise anyone who does like stupid crap like High School Musical. No way, no how would I EVER like crappy crap like that.
Ahem. Until little rogue DVD found its way into my DVD player and
I FELL IN LOVE WITH ZAC 'WITHOUT THE "K"' EFRON.
I typed that. I really did.
Stupid, stupid me decided to watch 17 Again. Why?!?!?! Why would I do such a thing? Netflix MADE me do it. I swear. It was a dumb movie about abstinence and family values, but my cognitive thinking brain didn't care...Um, because What'shisface was in every stupid. schmaltzy scene.
