Civil Ceremony at Farington Lodge in Claret & Ivory

Farington Lodge is a really lovely sumptuous space I particularly like this room and the decor was great to work with from a freah flower point of view.

The Registrars table centre doubled as the top table design and included Amaryllis, Viburnum Opulus berries, Anthuriums and imported Metalina Roses.I sprinkled some rose petals in between and amongst our tea light votives

The pedestals were in our "Secret Garden Style Urns" and included plenty of luscious foliages, White Delphinium Elatum, Avalanche Roses, Molucella & Chocco Anthuriums.

Creative Cover Hire dressed the chairs and decorated them with little butterflies

The Grooms Boutonniere included a Crystal Blush Calla Lily some rolled Metalina Rose Petals and some fresh Fragrant RosemaryThe little flower girl carried one of our lovely squashy teddy bears dressed witha miniature fresh posy of complimenting flowers

The Page Boy wore a Boutonierre of tiny rose buds

The Bridal Bouquet included fresh Lily of the Valley, Akito, Metalina & Kameleon Roses, Hydrangea, Amaryllis & Champagne Grass

The ceremony was conducted by the lovely Kerr Andrew

The bridal gown was from Dan Kerr bridal in Blackpool

The adult Bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the brides bouquet

The Mum's Corsages included Roses, Freesia, Stephanotis and Lily of the Valley

The tables were dressed with a combination of high and low design, the lower ones included three chapel candles surrounded by fresh flowers, raised off the table slightly by crystal cake stands.

The taller table designs were on table stands and again included chapel candles and an abundance of fresh flowers

The top table was flanked by the two pedestal designs and had the sumptuous registrars table centre in the centre

This wedding took place way back September time but I thought we could all do witha bit of sunshine.

Some girls start to imagine the perfect wedding when they're really young while others simply don't (like me). However, I never could imagine my civil ceremony to turn out the way it did. Seriously, could it GET any classier?

I also decided to make the video slightly entertaining by turning our voices into chipmunk mode. Good luck trying to understand us as well as figuring out what Korean song was playing in the background in one of the clips!

FYI: Civil ceremony was held because our friend, who is not licensed to wed, married us in the Bahamas.

Sundance TwenyTen

So a few months ago, Shug and I found out about this. We have been rabid for tickets ever since. Unfortunately, we are but lowly Utahns that must purchase our Sundance tickets after all of the hoity-toities from Cali have had their pick of the festival.

We get to purchase tickets TODAY!! In t-minus 7 hours and 4 minutes....

Cross your fingers for us so we can get tickets to the opening screening!

This video was one of the first collaborations between Danny Perez, the director of ODDSAC, and Animal Collective...Judging by this, we are in for a crazy ride!

Dani & Martin Wallwork, "Cotton Candy & Pink Lemonade"

Dani & Martin’s Wedding was one of those really special days that I always feel so honoured to be a part of; for a start we (Sally & I) love Martin, we have no sensible explanation for this, he is “quite difficult” but utterly loveable, not in a cuddly cutesy way, no way, more of “you know you shouldn’t like him but you just do” sort of way.
Dani is quite simply fabulous, with a sensational figure and the most gorgeous gown.

Not only for all of the reasons above were we looking forward to this day, but in addition the guest list included so many of our all time favourite Brides, their Brothers, Mothers, Aunts and Uncle Tom Cobbly’s and all.

Dani & Martin's suppliers were all favourites of ours so it really was a day to enjoy!

The bouquet we created for Dani was in a “Flower Design” hand tied style with roses, particularly David Austin Patience & Miranda, Heaven roses, Red Lips Phalaenopsis Orchids, pink and cream calla lilies and lots of foliage.

Emma from Pure Beauty did all of the girls make-up.

We had lots of glorious corsages, the one for Martin's Mum included a fragrant Gardenia and Stephanotis.

The Setting for the Ceremony

We arranged two ginormous LSA Vases on either side of the Registrars Table, I Filled them with giant Black Dill, Pink Hydrangeas and Roses

David Murray seriously fabulous photographer, voted in the top Five or ten (Can't quite remember which, but either way it's pretty good!) photographers in the country, according to The Professional Photographers Magazine. He is such a nice man too!

The Bridesmaid's Bouquets were created ina perfect shade of Cotton Candy to compliment their gowns, I used Miranda Roses, Pale pink Pom Pom Dahlias, Heaven Roses, Celosia & Calla Lilies.
