The Pure Beauty Team Host a Fabulous Evening to Raise Money for Howard Naylor's Cancer Services in Lancashire Appeal

Last night the Pure Beauty Girls hosted a spectacular evening of Champagne & Beauty Demonstrations to help raise funds for this very close to home charity.

Howard Naylor a Pure Beauty Client and Cancer patient ran the New York Marathon to raise funds for Cancer Services in Lancashire & Cumbria, Last night the "Lovely Jane" and her fabulous team at Pure Ella, Emma, Claire and Daniella added considerably to the funds raised, their clients generously bought raffle tickets to support Howard's charities the money will be split equally between Head & Neck Cancer Services at Blackpool Victoria Hospital & The Rosemere Cancer Trust.Should you wish to make a donation head over to http://www.justgiving.com/ and enter the name Howard Naylor or if you'd like more information you can e-mail howardnaylor@hotmail.com

The guests all had an opportunity to purchase Elemis gift boxes and evryone went home with a goody bag (Except me hey ho! thats life I always forget the most important bits)

The guests were equally as gorgeous

The evening was of course great fun with Jane Iredale make up demonstrations, they had this fabulous Chocoholicks range of lip glosses which are honestly the most delicious lippy I've tried, tasted or smelled.

"Botox Brian" extolling the virtues of medical beauty and Collagenics which is all now available at Pure Beauty

There was a fabulous array of food created by Jane's gorgeous hubby and some seriously delicious cakes from "Katie Cup Cake" over at The Little House of Cup Cakes

Floristry Workshop Weekend in Association With David Austin Roses 25th & 26th April 2010

These workshops can be split into bite sized pieces;

Either one day £25 inclusive of Instruction, Breakfast Pastries, Lunch & Afternoon Tea or both days £50 with overnight accomodation inclusive of above and Dinner £92.50. A Bargain!

On the Sunday 25th We'll be designing table centrepieces with David Austin Roses and a fabulous selection of Flower Design goodies & On the Monday 26th we'll be creating Hand Tied masterpieces, we'll be splitting the group up depending on their ability so no worries for those of you who consider themselves to be beginners or for those florists amongst you who'd like to have a weekend by the sea but can't leave your flowers behind.

For the full weekenders we'll be organising an access all areas visit to Flower Design with a look at our off site workroom, the bridal studio and the cooler unit, for our florist friends we will be happy to share lots of our event tips.

We will provide scissors, aprons, work sheets, flowers & containers, so there's no need to buy any equipment.

~

The Floral Designs you will create will be charged for on the day dependent upon size and content. eg. Small:£30.00-Medium:£45.00-Large:£65.00

We are going to let you in on the worst kept secret here at the Hidden Garden. Are you ready? Ok, here it is...we are partial to the color purple, and by partial, I mean we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the color purple, take a look at our website and our blog graphics and there's just some of the proof.

Whether it's a bright hue of amethyst on lisianthus or sweet pea flowers, a rich deep eggplant color on a calla lily, or a pastel shade on a roses, we will use it anyway it comes. We can't forget the ever elusive lilac with it's bright and cheerful hue that teases us for only a few weeks a year... We love this time of year when the scent of lilac fills the shop and your vases. Then we have the classics. Hydrangeas that come in various shades of purple. The makara orchids are always a beautiful sight as well as the tulips in their grape colored splendor...

Oh how we love purple here. We hope you do too, as we don't need much of an excuse to fill the shop with purple flowers!
