What I love most about Mission Weddings? The old, heavy, beautiful doors!

 Guests had to drive about 20 minutes from the Mission to the reception site. Included with the maps handed out at the ceremony was a "things you may see along the way" picture map. It made the drive more fun and got people in the mood for the reception ahead.

The main theme for this wedding was  paper. Paper flowers and paper lanterns were major parts of the decor. Note to DIY Brides- This Bride spent months hand folding the origami flower escort cards.

After driving through strawberry fields to get to the Party, guests enjoyed eating some in their salads.

Instead of an old school guest book, Felice and Mike used a book of poems by Shel Silverstein. Guests added their special wishes throughout the book. It is sure to become a cherished memento. 

The cupcakes were delish with flavors like lavender, black and white, chocolate truffle, meyer lemon and strawberry.

I loved working with Mike and Felice. Their wedding was a mix of modern, DIY with traditional touches. The Bride who is very crafty did many of the little details herself. Their personalities were woven through out the event. Congrats you guys! Thank you for letting me help you plan your special day.
