Ceremony Chairs

por | | 0 comments

Happy Monday!
We had a lovely wedding this weekend, Congratulations to April and Rawley!

While working on the wedding together, Heidi and I were talking about ceremony chairs.  Heidi wanted everything to look perfect and straight and I was much more concerned about the stability of the chairs. For me sometimes function is a priority over perfectly lined up chairs and for Heidi it's about what the outcome of the pictures will look like. Of course this weekends ceremony chairs ended up looking perfect AND being comfortable for the guests. My point is, it's good to have two heads, thinking about two completely different aspects of a situation, in our case we cover all the bases with function, aesthetics and style.

This is one of my favorite videos, so enjoy!

I'm pretty proud of the first clip; that was me in the front! :D

~The pictures and videos were taken in Baja California by me(cheesecake2468) and my family members.
~Music: Sand in My Shoes by Dido
~Lyrics:

Two weeks away feels like the whole world should've changed
but I'm home now, and things still look the same
I think I'll leave it till tomorrow to unpack, try to forget for one more night that I'm back in my flat
on the road where the cars never stop going through the night
to a life where I can't watch the sunset, I don't have time, I don't have time

I've still got sand in my shoes and I can't shake the thought of you
I should get on, forget you but why would I want to
I know we said goodbye, anything else would've been confused
but I want to see you again

tomorrow's back to work and down to sanitation
should run a bath and then clear up the mess I made before I left here
try to remind myself that I was happy here before I knew that I could get on a plane and fly away
from the road where the cars never stop going through the night
to a life where I can watch the sunset and take my time, take all our time

I've still got sand in my shoes and I can't shake the thought of you
I should get on forget you but why would I want to
I know we said goodbye, anything else would've been confused
but I want to see you again(x2)
I want to see you again

two weeks away, all it takes, to change and turn me around I've fallen
I walked away, and never said, that I wanted to see you again

I've still got sand in my shoes and I can't shake the thought of you
I should get on, forget you but why would I want to
I know we said goodbye, anything else would've been confused
but I want to see you again(x2)

I wanna see you again
I wanna see you again

This song and its lyrics are by Dido, not me!

Vs.

I know I shouldn't have expected anything less for Superbowl advertising, but I REFUSE to believe that love of football and misogyny are mutually exclusive.

What do you think? It seems men only have to be "civilized" to get a fast car. I hate that this commercial makes men seem so one-dimensional and spineless...

P.S. F-bomb alert at the end of the female's commercial...

For the first time, comedian Jack Dee reveals the highs and lows of his early life and disastrous day jobs. You don't just wake up jaundiced and bitter; it's taken Jack years of dedication and commitment to brew his unique cocktail of disillusionment and bile. What turned this once optimistic young man into a grumpy middle-aged git? Was it working in an artificial-leg factory? Or delivering incontinence pads for the NHS? Or was it the time when he was shunned by his peers for daring to thrash a one-armed man at tennis? In this hilariously frank account of his life, Jack finally answers the question, 'So how did you get started in comedy then'? Along the way, he shares his blatantly unreasonable views on everything from personal trainers to boutique hotels, via the overrated moon landing and 'people who hold their cutlery the wrong way'.
Don’t miss out and book your tickets now !

Title: Jack Johnson Go On Acoustic

Hey !! Almost 200k views, keep em coming !!

I hope you enjoy this song, Go On Acoustic version by Jack Johnson.

Credits To Jack and his band !!

Title: Dead Leaves And The Dirty Ground (Live in TOTP)

"Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground" is a single by "The White Stripes" from their album "White Blood Cells". It was released in August 2002. The song features a very raw guitar tone produced by an Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi. In 2006, a cover of the song appeared on Chris Thile's album How to Grow a Woman from the Ground. Jack White originally planned for this song to be much softer and done with an acoustic guitar.

The video for this song, directed by Michel Gondry, depicts Jack coming back to his (and Meg's) trashed house and surveying the destruction. While he goes from room to room, video of the party that led to the destruction, and of his and Meg's relationship before he left, is projected and occasionally super-imposed over the scene.

Title: "Mamma Had Enough" Comedy By Mark Lowry

this is from mark's very first comedy video. this could easily be his funniest and most imfamous story he's ever told.

A few years ago my mom and I looked everywhere for this video, we had every single mark lowry video except this one and it drove us crazy there was one out there we didn't have. We went to every place in town that might have it and nobody did and nobody seemed to be able to order it either. At the time we didn't have a credit card (we were too broke to have a credit card) so we couldn't order it online. We basically thought we were doomed. I sent an e-mail to Mark's website and asked for advice on how I might be able to get a copy of it. I wasn't hinting around for them to send me one, I seriously thought they just may have a suggestion. They e-mailed me back and said they would send me one, I e-mailed back and said thank you very much that was very nice and asked how I should pay for it. They e-mailed me back and said no need to pay. I thought it was so nice.
